Shhh at the back!!

Critisms emerge today that Lib Dem Vince Cable had a rather easy ride on Monday during the hour long special ‘Ask the Chancellors’. Some TV bods are saying that Cable being allowed to stand centre stage and make statements that went unchallenged were a definite advantage, while Alistair Darling and George Osbourne were on the outside and were more rigerously cross-examined. It was seen as a dress rehersal for the approaching Live Leaders’ Debate.
