The Apprentice – Changes Afoot for The Apprentice 2011!!
We’ve just come to terms with the fact that the Junior Apprentice has gone from our screens, and we can’t wait for the next series of Lord Alan Sugar’s The Apprentice to come to the BBC in the Autumn, but we’ve just heard some news about The Apprentice 2011 – you wait so long for some Apprentice news, and it all comes through at once!!
It seems that for 2011, Lord Sugar won’t "technically" be looking for an Apprentice, but a business partner (but that’s not as catchy a name!). Instead of offering the Apprentice winner a position within one of his companies, Lord Sugar has decided that from 2011, the winner of the Apprentice will receive £250,000 to invest in a new company of their choice. The Apprentice winner will become Lord Alan Sugar’s business partner, with each owning 50% of the new company – with the Apprentice winner not having to invest anything themselves. AND they still get all of Lord Sugar’s support in bringing them through in the business world!!
So it sounds like Lord Alan Sugar could be looking to spread his business influence even further – we can’t wait to see what the Apprentice 2011 winner will get involved in!! And you can still apply to be a part of the Apprentice 2011 series by applying through the BBC.
But enough about the Apprentice 2011 – we can’t wait to see who’ll line up as the Apprentice 2010 contestants, and what Lord Alan Sugar will have in store for his new round of hopefuls. Will Karren Brady be able to cope with the adult Apprentice hopefuls as well as she did with the Junior Apprentice contestants!?
