Apprentice 2011 – Meet The Boys

It’s less than a week before Lord Alan Sugar welcomes his new batch of Apprentice 2011 contestants into the Apprentice boardroom, so we wanted to introduce you to the people you’ll be watching every week. Here’s the lineup of the boys who make up the 2011 Apprentice candidates.

Leon Doyle 26, lives in Leeds. Leon has some business starting pedigree that should please Lord Sugar, as he’s a Director and Founder of an online takeaway ordering site – we have a funny feeling that Lord Sugar will start talking about flipping burgers at some point during the series!!

Alex Britez Cabral 28, lives in London. Alex is another in a long line of Apprentice candidates who has worked his way up, starting as a tea boy and ending up as an Estate Agent Manager, so he’ll have a full understanding of office politics that might help him battle against the other 2011 Apprentice contestants!!

Vincent Disneur 29, lives in Canterbury. Another international Apprentice 2011 candidate, half Belgian and half Swiss Vincent describes himself as a perfectionist. Watch out, he could be another Stuart Baggs – he’s a Sales Manager for Telecoms Software.

Jim Eastwood 32, lives in Northern Ireland. Jim is one of the Apprentice candidates 2011 who started in business at a very young age, having worked in the family fish and chip shop at 9 – he’s grown up and is now a Sales and Marketing Manager and has maintained top sales performance. We think we could be hearing a lot about that over the next few weeks if previous Apprentice candidates are anything to go by!!

Edward Hunter 25, lives in Reading. Edward started as a gardener when he was 12 and is now an accountant at a FTSE 30 energy company. So he’ll know how big business is run, but will he convince Lord Sugar that he can start his own business and run it successfully?!

Gavin Winstanley 27, lives in Liverpool. Gavin became a high street store manager at the tender age of 16 and now works as MD of his own business which started as an online opticians, and now has two high-street stores. We think he could be an Apprentice 2011 favourite of Lord Sugar’s – after all, he’s started his own business and seen it grow!!

Tom Pellereay 31, lives in London. Described as an “Inventor” Tom decribes himself as creative, adventurous, loyal and enthusiastic. He’s proved his inventive skills having a home-made protoype make it in to pharmacy outlets, but does he have a good business brain as well – we’ll just have to wait and see!!

Glen Ward 28, lives in Hertfordshire. Glen has a technical background that might take Lord Sugar’s interest, having rebuilt an entire computer aged 8! so he was an early starter and then started to make some money by washing cars aged 14. He’s a Senior Design Engineer, so not a traditional background for an Apprentice favourite, but maybe change is good for the Apprentice 2011?!

So those are the boys who make up the Apprentice 2011 candidates. Have you got your eye on an Apprentice 2011 favourite yet? Who are your Apprentice 2011 bets on to win the Apprentice 2011!?
