Dancing With The Stars – First Celeb Dances Off!

It’s certainly had its fair share of controversy so far but Dancing With The Stars 2011 has begun – and we’ve already had to say goodbye to our first Dancing Celebrity!!

We know they’ve only danced once but we think DWTS 2011 will be a lot closer to call than recently after a number of the Dancing With The Stars celebrities hit the high scores after week 1!! Sadly that wasn’t the case for Nancy Grace who scored 14 out of 30 for her “underwhelming” cha cha and who faced being in the DWTS bottom two with Ron Artest who scored the same with an “atrocious” cha cha. There wasn’t a lot in it but it was time to say goodbye to Ron.

At the top of the Dancing With The Stars 2011 leaderboard it’s all looking very close with three of the DWTS celebs scoring 21 and 22 out of 30 – not bad for week one!! Putting themselves squarly in the ones to watch category are Chynna Phillips and J.R. Martinez who scored 22 out of 30 for their Viennese Waltzes that left Len congratulating Chynna on “one of the best first dances ever” while JR was called “an inspiration” by Bruno!! We can’t wait to see what they’ve all got up their sequinned sleeves for next week!!
