X Factor 7 Acts left – who is bookies favourite to win?
The Risk and Johnny Robinson were the two acts to be sent home from Sunday’s X Factor results show. Although we had predicted two of the bottom three (Kitty Brucknell and Johnny), The Risk receiving the fewest public votes didn’t seem to be on the cards. As Warren Hill, an OLBG forum member puts it, ‘Obviously no one wants to see another….JLS or ONE DIMENSION….’. The betting odds before Saturday’s show backed The Risk 9/2 to win!
So, looking to the next show, week 6. The current X Factor betting odds are showing Marcus Collins as favourite to win X Factor 2011 at 13/5 with Bet 365, jumping from 13/2 to win before last Saturday’s show. Perhaps a overreaction off the back of one performance? We’ll see what he can pull out of the bag on Saturday…anyone know what the theme is yet?
Misha B is consistently great vocally and it seems the producers are trying to soften her image a bit, showing us surrounded by her family, tears in her eyes…a bit of a contrast to the backstage gossip of bullying and poor conduct towards the other acts. Misha is currenty at 5/1 to win with Bet 365.
My final note for now is about Frankie. Predicted wrongly by me to be in the bottom three, it seems that he is getting the joke vote this year and now Johnny is gone, I can only imagine his vote will only get stronger! Kiteflyer from Reality TV gossip site Digital Spy says ‘It’s the same every year. They have one controversial character which gets everyone talking and everyone watching. Once Frankie goes, the ratings will drop dramatically because there is no-one else on the show to fire the viewers up.’
We’ll be back with an X Factor betting update on Friday 11th November.
