X Factor Betting: Amelia Lilly, 2shoes, Jonjo or James back in X Factor 2011?
X Factor has thrown some surprises into the mix this week. With the ‘shock’ (yawn) departure of Frankie and the invitation for the public to vote one of four booted acts back into the competition, we’ll take a look at what this means for us punters.
Amelia Lilly seems by far the most likely to be voted back in, and the betting odds reflect this at 1/7. When she was axed on the first live show, there was an almost immediate assumption that Amelia would return, with punters even putting money down on her after her departure – as Dammo Quirky from OLBG.com says ‘i covered my back on a few options. took a small punt on amelia coming back at 100/1 a coupla weeks ago.’ Have X Factor lived up to its reputation and jiggled the contest enough to allow her to slip back through and perhaps take the crown this year? God knows, we need some actual talent in the competition to give Craig and Marcus a good fight.
Unless all the idiots who voted Frankie in week after week have pulled the plug on the show now Frankie has finally given us back the previous space of our tv screens, I’m guessing they’ll not do the right thing and vote in the talent, but reignite the joke vote that Frankie soaked up (along with Johnny). Out of the four possibilities, I feel this would be Jonjo. He’s not hopeless, just dull and prescriptive IMO.
As #MrPapazzari puts it ‘Amelia, Jonjo, 2Shoes and the other guy… who will you be voting for?’. My sentiments exactly – James who? But he does seem to be the main competition for Amelia Lilly. Trouble is, if James does return, he’d last a week and then we’d be back to dullsville.
