It was Michael Jackson week on X Factor USA, in the week that Conrad Murray was jailed for his part in the death of the King of Pop.

With mixed reactions on the Michael Jackson night, we think the X Factor USA Top 7 were all nervously waiting for the X Factor USA results, knowing that two of them would be going home. First it was time to say goodbye to Brian “Astro” Bellow who’s version of “Black or White” clearly didn’t impress the American public … or was it a delayed response to his teenage strop when he found himself in the bottom two a few weeks ago??

On to the X Factor USA sing off and it was Simon’s Drew Ryniewicz, who sang “Billie Jean” on Wednesday night, up against LA Reid’s Marcus Canty, who’d performed “PYT”. Luckily for LA it wasn’t going to be the night that he lost two acts as LA, Paula and Nicole all chose to send Drew Ryniewicz home after her save me song “Listen to Your Heart” didn’t match up to Marcus’s “Neither One of Us”.

So Nicole Scherzinger lives to fight another week with her sole survivor Josh Krajcik up against LA Reid’s boys – Chris Rene and Marcus Canty and Simon Cowell’s girls – Melanie Amaro and Rachel Crow all competing to be the first X Factor USA winner. We’re not sure what you think but for us Rachel Crow’s one of the ones to beat at the moment!

    I understand that was a tough decision but what I’m really upset about is Rachel Crow and marcus singing off while chris rene still in there

    But at the same time, America can’t be mad at Nicole; Rachel Crow’s fate lied in the way America voted.
